Growing up, I was always influenced by my mother and her sister who owns a salon in Cuidad Victoria, Mexico. I would spend summers in her salon observing her craft and interactions with her clients. Some of my favorite memories. The love of hair has always been a part of my life. They both were entrepreneurs and I always inspired to follow in their footsteps. I studied at Paul Mitchell and have been a Stylist for 8 years. A year ago, I opened The Studio M and it has been one of the greatest challenges/endeavors of my life. My faith, dedication, and love for my craft have given me the ability to live out my dreams and influencing those I love.
Has it been a smooth road?
Taking that initial leap of faith was one of the most prolific moments of my life. I honestly don’t think there are words capable of describing the feelings of uncertainty, I initially had decided to open my own concept. I think the biggest challenge for me was balancing my personal life with my business life. As most entrepreneurs know, we work a lot but it’s important to find that balance. Owning a business has its own set of challenges but having overcome all the initial obstacles to now being a leader of my own domain was well worth it.

The whole vibe of The Studio M is a minimalistic new era of boutique wrapped in luxury for the exquisite experience of new age beauty. The moment you walk in, you feel a certain level of sophistication not typically found with this type of model, its upbeat, posh with its own flavor of culture. I specialize in extravagantly tailored color, personalized extensions, haircuts, weddings, and special occasion hair. All I do is create dream hair all day every day. It’s my passion. What I’m most proud of are my hard work and achievements which have allowed me the privilege to now walk down this yellow brick road.
