Meet Tanya Seals of SHRINK Studios in River Oaks

Today we’d like to introduce you to Tanya Seals.

Tanya, can you briefly walk us through your story – how you started and how you got to where you are today.
SHRINK Studios is Houston’s #1 location for Non-Surgical Lipo & Skin Tightening, we shrink fat and tighten skin on women and men ‘s abs, hip, thighs, arms, and face. I opened SHRINK Studios December 2013 with one machine, and one sauna on FM 1960. The 2nd year, Jan 2015 I opened the 2nd SHRINK Studios location inside the Woodlands Mall. January 2015, the 3rd year I moved the FM 1960 location to the growing Cypress area, and we have been there ever since.

SHRINK Studios grew by leaps and bounds every year, that in 2016, I decide to make it franchise when one of my clients said she loved her results so much that she would buy one. I got the courage to take that leap of faith and contacted an attorney to get started, and by Sept of 2016 I sold the 1st franchise location to my client. She opened the Memorial City location on I10 & Gessner in March 2017.

I sent out an email blast to all of SHRINK Studios clients announcing the sale of Memorial City, when I received the call from my soon to be 2nd franchise owner. She came into my FM 1960 location for treatments in 2014 and thought it was already a franchise, and when she got the email blast she immediately reached out. Two months later, Nov of 2016 I closed my 2nd franchise location in Killeen, TX. She is in the military and opened the 2nd franchise location last month, which is close to Ft Hood to help our service men and women meet their mandatory weight requirements.

After closing 2 franchises, I need to be centrally located and need a larger location, Jan 2017 I moved the Woodlands location to River Oaks and made it the headquarters.

Every Jan for the last 4 years, I have open a SHRINK Studios location, it is such a rewarding business, we help men & women love their bodies again, Non-Surgically!

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
SHRINK Studios grew really fast and I had to keep up since I’m the sole owner, I had to figure it out as I went along while maintaining the foundation of the business which is to produce results! And that is what has propelled SHRINK Studios to where we are today and into the future!

So, what’s next? Any big plans?
To open more franchise location in Houston and expand into Dallas.
