Meet Trailblazer Hannah Pogge

Today we’d like to introduce you to Hannah Pogge.

Thanks for sharing your story with us Hannah. So, let’s start at the beginning and we can move on from there.
Health and wellness has always been a big part of my life for as long as I can remember. I was a cheerleader majority of my childhood, in my early twenties, I was a bottle girl and twin peaks girl so being fit was in my job description.

I struggled with an eating disorder that I overcame by the grace of God. My life was getting turned upside down at that point in my childhood/teen years and I felt as I was pulled in every direction. My eating was the only thing I had control of. I am grateful that I overcame it pretty unscathed of the detrimental effects eating disorders can have on the body. Personally, when I got away from it although I still have struggled at times, I wanted to make an impact on the health world. I went to college originally to be a doctor then I switched to nutrition and exercise science, I also dabbled in marketing. I honestly had no clue what I wanted to do but that I wanted to raise my future babies at home and make an impact on people’s lives.

Fast forward about six years and I was crying in my closet for the umpteenth time because of nothing fit. I had tried all the programs and for some reason, as a nursing mom, I just couldn’t lose the weight I had gained breastfeeding. My daughter didn’t sleep more than two hours in the first year of her life and I snacked all night. I was starting to believe I’d never be fit again. Late one night right before my daughter turned one, I was scrolling Instagram and came across Moira’s page, she was running a coach sneak peek so I wanted to see what it was about. I knew I wanted to gain control of my eating again, I wanted my body back and I was over “giving myself grace”. I messaged Moira right away about wanting in the sneak peek. Over the next three days, I listened to what she and a few others had to say about coaching and what a life changer it’s been. I prayed a ton and I asked God for a sign that if I should take the plunge. Clear as day, God gave me a sign and I jumped in right away. I went all in and got massive results, not only physically but I finally felt like I wasn’t just a wife and mom which I majorly struggled with because that was my lifetime dream to be a stay at home mom.

I knew I had to share this with others and I will forever share this opportunity because it truly was life-changing.

Has it been a smooth road?
Not at all has it been a smooth road, I struggled with the balance of being a mom, taking care of the house, when I started I was also the main caretaker for a sick family member and I didn’t know how to balance it all. As time passed, I started to burn out, then I got injured and I pulled back from my business entirely. I really started to question if I miss read God’s sign. I really let the judgment from others get to me and it ate me away. I decided to focus on my journey again for a few weeks going all in like I did in the beginning and I knew I was doing the right thing. This business is exactly what I am meant to do. I get to help women and men regain, confidence and their health. I also want to shout out my husband Jason, he has supported me through this entire process and even when I question myself, he is there cheering me on and encouraging me.

As a young woman myself- the biggest things I’ve learned are people are going to judge, let them, their opinions do not pay your bills. If it fuels your soul go for it and dream big because anything is possible with a vision and hard work.

A quote I absolutely love by Rachel Hollis is other people’s opinions of you is none of your business, it’s so true and something in this business I’ve learned to let go of others’ opinions.

We’d love to hear more about The Millennial Mama.
I partner with a Global wellness company – from which I run accountability groups, provide meal plans, and help my clients reach their goals with nutrition and exercise while still living life! It is a fully sustainable lifestyle that does not require cutting out any food groups, alcohol and deserts are still allowed! We teach balance of healthy living without deprivation.

I am most proud of my brand as a younger mom, I’m 26, I had my daughter at 24, and my business although helps both men and women. I mostly connect with women and help them feel like themselves again. I feel like most young adults lose themselves partially when entering the professional world and marriage/parenthood and I get to guide them back to who they feel best as, and its a ripple effect into families.

Which women have inspired you in your life?
My mentor Moira Kucaba, she shows up relentlessly for us and she paved a path that our dreams our entirely possible, we just have to work our @$$ off to get there.

My sister Jessica Ventouras, she has shown me no matter what hard work will pay off.
