Meet Trailblazer Nisha Deanne Randle

Today we’d like to introduce you to Nisha Deanne Randle.

So, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
So, I have always had a passion for fashion! In 2013, after completing my military service in the US Navy, I moved to Houston from my hometown Killeen Texas.

In 2017, while working in the oil & gas corporate industry, I started a YouTube channel documenting my weight loss journey. I named my channel “Goal Digger”, I made a “statement T-shirt’s” for myself, however, my subscribes at the time encouraged me to make more for them to purchase! I started with 30 T-shirts. After those T-shirts sold, I did my research and found vendors for accessories, after that, my business grew very fast. Goal Digger Beautique is my baby, I molded her and I’m watching her grow into a successful business that I pray continues to grow every day beyond my expectations.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc. – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
It has not been easy, the road to success has many bumps and curves….. & POTHOLES. So many times, I’ve found myself in difficult situations with business, emotionally & financial.

The best part is that I’ve learned from each and every setback. My advice to anyone who has just begun their journey is to stay focused. Write down your goals daily and hold yourself accountable. The road to success is hard but if you fight through it, whole trusting God, it will be worth it in the end.

We’d love to hear more about Goal Digger Beautique.
Last year I was laid off from my corporate job after seven years, at the time, it was devastating to my personal goals and business goals. But God showed me this was my journey, I did not let that get me down! So currently I am a full-time student at San Jacinto College. I am giving my all as I study Business Management Entrepreneurship, for my associate’s degree. On top of school, I work part-time in retail. Working part-time in retail was definitely not one of my goals, however, I am able to expertise my customer service skills. As well as, earn extra income to fund my business.

Finding a mentor and building a network are often cited in studies as a major factor impacting one’s success. Do you have any advice or lessons to share regarding finding a mentor or networking in general?
As far as finding a mentor, my advice would be to do your research, find someone who is doing or has already done things that you are interested in doing. Assure that they have reached goals that you strive for.
