Today we’d like to introduce you to Suzette Torres.
Hi Suzette, so excited to have you on the platform. So before we get into questions about your work-life, maybe you can bring our readers up to speed on your story and how you got to where you are today?
I started my hairstylist career as an assistant for 9 months only able to apply color and style girls , after I got the opportunity to start working commission based which I was able to learn how to balayage and different blonding services. A year or so went by and I was able to go off on my own and start renting my own suite
Can you talk to us a bit about the challenges and lessons you’ve learned along the way. Looking back would you say it’s been easy or smooth in retrospect?
I enjoyed every step of the way , getting to learn how to deal with clients as well as perfecting my blonding services

I am a hairstylist, I specialize in blonding services , I am the most proud of being able to have achieved everything at such a young age . I love what I do and wouldn’t want to change my job for anything else
How do you think about luck?
I think I have had pretty good luck , the people I have came around in this industry have all been very helpful and patient with me
