Last night on my walk back from the park with my family. Its amazing what spending time outdoors does for your soul.

Thanks for sharing that. Would love to go back in time and hear about how your past might have impacted who you are today. What’s a moment that really shaped how you see the world?
Last summer, I coordinated a medical mission trip to help provide vision care to an impoverished town in the Philippines. We saw over 300 patients in one day and provided glasses to children and adults. It is the most rewarding feeling when you see a child smile as they put on their first glasses and can finally see the world clearly.
If you could say one kind thing to your younger self, what would it be?
Enjoy the ride and stay present. In medicine you are constantly planning for the future with passing board exams, presentations and research. Then as a business owner there is so much planning and organizing involved. It is easy to get lost in the struggle of it all.
I think our readers would appreciate hearing more about your values and what you think matters in life and career, etc. So our next question is along those lines. What would your closest friends say really matters to you?
Having a strong relationship with God, a good family support system and friendships that spans decades.
