Marsalis, we’re thrilled to have you with us today. Before we jump into your intro and the heart of the interview, let’s start with a bit of an ice breaker: Are you walking a path—or wandering?
I feel today that my steps are more aligned than ever before in my life. Sometimes it might feel like Im wandering but when your walking with faith your on the right path.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
I am Marsalis “MarSo” , and I make rap and r&b music. My brand is more on the lifestyle side of music including topics of romance and day to day adventures. My record label Four All Moods LLC embodies this foundation and vibe. Currently im working on several projects and making visuals to back them up.
Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. Who were you before the world told you who you had to be?
I was extroverted around my peers always laughing and joking with my friends until life got a little more serious. With music i find myself back being that kid in elementary being very expressive.
Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
I almost give up all the time honestly, but that question of “what if” keeps me going and positive.I have a few what if moments in my life that I try to let go of. Thats why with the music I have to see it to the end.

That knowing everything comes with a price. Sometimes the smart choice is to be “ignorant” , with great wisdom comes great responsibility.

I really dont mind the story that people tell when Im gone. But the biggest complement would be that he was 1oo percent himself at all times,.
