Good morning Traneicia , it’s such a great way to kick off the day – I think our readers will love hearing your stories, experiences and about how you think about life and work. Let’s jump right in? What are you most proud of building — that nobody sees?
What I’m most proud of building is my mindset. It took a lot of growth, patience, and faith to get where I am. Nobody sees the quiet moments when I’m brainstorming new ideas, learning from mistakes, or pushing through self-doubt but that inner work is what keeps my business and creativity alive.
Can you briefly introduce yourself and share what makes you or your brand unique?
My name is Traneicia Dancy, and I’m the founder of Lash Beauty Bliss and LBB Gloss Bar, two beauty brands rooted in confidence, creativity, and community. I specialize in lash lifts and custom gloss-making experiences designed to help women embrace their natural beauty and feel empowered in every season of life.
My journey began with a deep passion for self-care and a desire to create spaces where women could not only look beautiful but truly feel it from within. What started as a small idea has evolved into something so much more a blend of artistry, empowerment, and connection.
What makes my brand unique is the experience behind it. Whether it’s a relaxing lash lift session or a fun gloss party, every detail is designed to uplift and inspire confidence. It’s not just about beauty it’s about helping people reconnect with themselves, celebrate their individuality, and walk away feeling seen and radiant.
Currently, I’m focused on growing my event experiences and collaborating with local spaces across Houston to continue bringing creative beauty experiences to the community.
Amazing, so let’s take a moment to go back in time. Who taught you the most about work?
The people who’ve taught me the most about work are my children. They remind me every day why I push so hard and why consistency matters. Being a mom and a business owner has taught me balance, patience, and resilience on a whole new level. My kids motivate me to keep showing up, not just for them but for the woman I’m becoming. They’ve shown me that hard work isn’t just about success it’s about creating a legacy and showing them what’s possible through faith, effort, and passion.
Was there ever a time you almost gave up?
Yes, there was a time I almost gave up. Running a business while being a mom can be overwhelming there were moments when things felt heavy, when bookings slowed down, or when I questioned if all the effort was really worth it. I remember sitting in my workspace one night, feeling defeated, and wondering if I should just take a break from it all.
But then I thought about why I started to create something meaningful for myself, for my kids, and for other women who needed that reminder that they’re capable of anything. That thought alone kept me going. Every challenge has taught me resilience, and I’ve learned that sometimes, the breakthrough comes right after the moment you almost give up.

One of the biggest lies in the beauty industry is that it’s all effortless and glamorous. People see the perfect lashes, the trending glosses, and the events but they don’t see the late nights, the mistakes, and the constant hustle behind the scenes. The truth is, real success comes from showing up consistently, learning from missteps, and creating experiences that genuinely make people feel confident and empowered. It’s not about perfection it’s about authenticity, hard work, and the connections you build along the way.

I hope people remember me as someone who could make them laugh, inspire them, and lift them up all at once.
