Meet Linzi Wright of Haute Haus in South

Today we’d like to introduce you to Linzi Wright.

Linzi, before we jump into specific questions about the business, why don’t you give us some details about you and your story.
Growing up, I’ve been around a family full of entrepreneurs from my grandparents having their own business, my father owning a popular club in Houston, and my mother and aunts owning a boutique. It was destined for me to own a business of my own one day, but I just wasn’t sure of what it would be at the time. I grew up being a DJ at 11 for teen events to wanting to do nails and hair to finally landing on fashion. Through my high school years, I started off drawing up small designs for my first business that never got the chance to launch, Kaotic. Then when I graduated, I finally got the correct resources for an online boutique. I started off by posting some small things on Instagram to build my clientele before releasing my brand, Haute Haus. There were lots of emotions from the beginning to now, but it was the best choice I ever made to follow my dream.

We’re always bombarded by how great it is to pursue your passion, etc – but we’ve spoken with enough people to know that it’s not always easy. Overall, would you say things have been easy for you?
Yes, at the beginning it was very smooth because customers were rolling in due to it being a new company. Then it started to get a little bit more difficult because there were always new styles coming out so I struggled with balancing what products to stock based on customers styles vs what styles I liked.

So let’s switch gears a bit and go into the Haute Haus story. Tell us more about the business.
Haute Haus is an online boutique for the generation to live in style. It was designed and thought of by Linzi Alahn to empower the current generation of young women to live in style. Haute Haus was influenced by Linzi’s passion for fashion and her desire to see more young women in fashion. As a business we are most proud of making women feel good about themselves through fashion.

Has luck played a meaningful role in your life and business?
In my opinion, I don’t believe that there has been any kind of luck in my business. I feel as everything that has happened in my business and life regarding Haute Haus all the way from physical and social growth was destined to happen and will continue to happen in order for Haute Haus to continue growing and striving.
